PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor drive device which cools a stator coil in a state where the stator coil is heated after regenerative operation is conducted and a vehicle is stopped.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor drive device includes: a wheel bearing 5; an electric motor 1; and an oil supply mechanism Jk which cools the electric motor 1 with a lubrication oil. The oil supply mechanism Jk has an accumulation tank Ta for accumulating the lubrication oil. The accumulation tank Ta is provided with at least part thereof positioned above the stator coil 9b. In the accumulation tank Ta, the lubrication oil jetted from a rotor 10 and the lubrication oil dropped from an oil hole 26 provided in the middle of an oil passage 32 positioned at an upper part of the motor housing 8 are accumulated in the accumulation tank Ta. The accumulation tank Ta is provided with dropping means which drops the lubrication oil accumulated in the accumulation tank Ta to the stator coil 9ba.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
