PURPOSE:To subject vector which is prepared by linking the plasmids from a microorganism in Streptococcus spp., and from Escherichia coli followed by connection with a specific plasmid of a high yield from a novel microorganism, thus being capable of expression in Bifidobacterium spp., Lactobacillus spp. CONSTITUTION:The complex plasmid prepared by linking a plasmid originating from a microorganism in Streptococcus spp. with another plasmid from Escherichia coli, or Escherichia coli plasmid including the erythromycin-resistant gene originating from a microorganism in Streptococcus spp. is linked with a novel plasmid which originates from a microorganism in Bifidobacterium longum MO9101 (FERM No.12167), including only one kind of plasmid, and having many recognition cites by restriction enzymes and high yield of plasmid, to give a plasmid vector which can suitably express over a wide range of hosts such as Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and possibly express in a microorganism belonging to Bifidobacterium spp. and Lactobacillus. |
