The circuit has an analogue connection device (210) for connecting to the telecommunications system's analogue connection device, an interface (220) for a door intercom (20), a device (110,120) for converting a door intercom bell ringing signal to a call number that the telecommunications system can process, an IWV and/or MFV transmitter (170) and a programmable control unit (80). The control unit causes the transmitter(s) to transmit the converted call number as a dialling signal to the telecommunications system and can switch through the communications path between the analogue connection device and the interface. An Independent claim is also included for a door intercom.
