PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to carry out the manipulation to raise or lower the toilet seat and seat lid of a flush toilet without worrying about the deposits of the respective parts of a toilet bowl by mounting a handle to either or both of the toilet seat and seat lid and using this handle. SOLUTION: The handle 1 for toilet bowl, which has a planar affixation part 10 affixed and fixed to the rear surfaces of the toilet seat 3 and the seat lid 4 and a planar clamping part 11 which is successively disposed at this affixation part 10 and projects outward from the outer peripheral edge of the toilet seat 3 or the seat lid 4, is mounted to the toilet seat 3 and the seat lid 4 so that the raising and lowering of the toilet seat 3 and the seat lid 4 can be carried out by clamping the clamping part 11.
