PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive nuclide production irradiation device that prevents contamination when an accident occurs and reduces exposure of an operator.SOLUTION: The radioactive nuclide production irradiation device is provided with a target container 10, a target container holder 12, a collimator 30, vacuum foil 32, target foil 42, a target foil cooling mechanism 40, a cooling mechanism 14, and a target melting apparatus 50, which are stored in a shield vessel 60 that shielding radiation, the radioactive nuclide production irradiation device being constituted of an elevating mechanism 70 for vertically moving the shield vessel 60, and wheels 72 for moving to a beam port position. After beam irradiation, a produced target nuclide is melted in the target melting apparatus 50, and a solution thereof is transferred to a hot cell through a shielded pipe. With a plurality of the irradiation devices being disposed in an irradiation chamber, processes of each of the irradiation devices can be partially simultaneously performed and a plurality of nuclide can be efficiently produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
