PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a vehicle capable of preventing a hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pressure source, from being lower than a necessary line pressure in switching from supply of hydraulic pressure by a mechanical oil pump to supply of hydraulic pressure by an electric oil pump.SOLUTION: In switching from supply of hydraulic pressure by a mechanical oil pump O/P driven by a motor/generator to supply of hydraulic pressure by an electric oil pump M/O/P driven by a sub-motor, an oil supply ratio from the mechanical oil pump O/P and an oil supply ratio by the electric oil pump M/O/P are adjusted by first and second flapper valves on the basis of difference in hydraulic pressures between a first hydraulic pressure P1 by the mechanical oil pump O/P and a second hydraulic pressure P2 by the electric oil pump M/O/P, and when the first hydraulic pressure P1 reaches a pump driving threshold value Por less, increase of the second hydraulic pressure P2 is started to coincides the first hydraulic pressure P1 and the second hydraulic pressure P2 with each other at a prescribed balance hydraulic pressure Plarger than a necessary line pressure PL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
