PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight sorter which determines a weight rank by measuring target measurement objects 13, sorts the target measurement objects 13 at a sort position corresponding to the weight rank, and also can accommodate a predetermined total measured amount of the sorted target measurement objects 13.SOLUTION: In a weight sorter, an outlet gate 14 is provided at a discharge port of a discharge chute 12 through which the target measurement objects 13 sorted at a sort position pass. Until a total measured amount of the sorted target measurement objects 13 reaches a set target value, the weight sorter keeps opened the outlet gate 14, on the other hand, when the total measured amount reaches the target value, the weight sorter closes the outlet gate 14 after the target measurement object 13 passes the outlet of the discharge chute 12 and also before the succeeding target measurement object 13, which is sorted at the same sort position at the shortest interval, arrives at the outlet. |
