<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquatic organism-activating mat having a new constitution with which growth promotion and reduction of prevalence and mortality of aquatic organisms such as fishes and shellfishes, seaweeds and crustaceans can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: This aquatic organism-activating mat is obtained by packing a granulated body 12 containing an activation active ingredient (biologically active ingredient) originating from plants against aquatic organisms into a liquid-permeable package 14 composed of a nonwoven fabric. The granulated body 12 is obtained by using one or more kinds of materials selected from a pulverized material of a plant (usually having ≤80 mesh: about ≤175 μm size), a plant extract and crystalline powder of the extract as active ingredients and adequately adding a natural binder thereto and granulating the mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
