PATTERNING OF CELLS ON SUBSTRATE BY INKJET PRINTING TECHNIQUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using an inkjet printing technique to arrange cells at arbitrary positions on a substrate.

SOLUTION: A solution of a protein-denaturing agent or a positive electric charge-having polymer is dropped on a substrate having an albumin film layer holding a cell non-adhesive property by an inkjet printing technique to convert only the dropped region into a cell-adhesive region, and cells are then arranged at arbitrary positions on the substrate.
