The present invention relates to the field of the internet. Provided is a method for updating Moments information. The method comprises: detecting a current network state on the basis of a preset network detection cycle; determining whether or not any Wi-Fi is available in a current environment; if not, then maintaining a current state; and if yes, then automatically updating Moments information. The method allows a user in a Wi-Fi environment to be assisted with automatic updates and in receiving Moments information and allows the user to read information previously updated upon opening WeChat whenever the user wants to use WeChat and not necessarily have to be in a place having a network signal, at the same time, the method effectively assists the user in conserving traffic. |
