HOLLOW RESIN MOLDED PIECE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To provide a resin molded piece with a thin part and a thick part formed integrally having excellent attachable property and appearance by reducing deformations such as sink mark and distortion due to difference in cooling and solidifying speed, and a method for manufacturing it. CONSTITUTION:An injection mold 21 comprises a cavity 24 consisting of a thin part forming section 25 and a thick part forming section 26 and a gas inlet 32 arranged at the thick part forming section 26. By using the injection mold 21, a resin 41 is injected into the cavity 24. After the gas inlet 32 is covered with the resin 41, a gas 42 is injected so as to carry out injection molding, so that a thin part 5 and a thick part 6 are molded integrally and a resin molded piece having a hollow 11 formed at the thick part 6 is obtained.
