PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having improved filming property against a photoreceptor, allowing low-temperature fixing, having satisfactory toner storage properties, high-temperature fixing winding properties, and high adhesion strength with a fixing paper, in a high-speed output system, and to provide an image forming apparatus achieving a high developer life while maintaining a highly-reliable image, capable of reducing deterioration fogging in a low temperature and low humidity environment, and printing a high-quality image. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus including a fixing device fixing a visible image on a recording medium by heat and pressure, a system speed is 400 to 3,000 mm/sec, a pressing surface pressure of the fixing medium of the fixing device is 5 to 90 N/cm<SP>2</SP>, the toner for use in the formation of the visible image includes at least an amorphous polyester resin, a crystal polyester resin, a colorant, and a releasing agent, and crystal component ratio of the crystal polyester resin in the toner is 0.10 to 20%.
