PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection port unit for a column which has strength and durability against both normal stress and maximum stress while projection from a columnar support pipe is reduced.SOLUTION: An inspection port unit of this invention is the inspection port unit attached to an opening for an inspection port installed in a support pipe and comprises: a first horizontal member which can be inserted in an interior space of the support pipe from a first side end of the opening; a second horizontal member which can be inserted in the interior space from a second side end on the side opposite to the first side end; and a connection member for connecting the first horizontal member and the second horizontal member. The first horizontal member, the second horizontal member and the connection member are each in a plate shape and the connection member is located behind the interior space of the support pipe when the inspection port unit is attached to the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
