The method involves providing an inner seal (10) capable of sealing a fluid at a high pressure from a lower pressure. An outer seal (11) capable of sealing the fluid is provided, where the seal (11) is spaced from the inner seal for forming an intermediate space. An intermediate pressure is maintained in the intermediate space, where the intermediate pressure is lower than the high pressure and higher than the lower pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an apparatus for sealing a fluid at a high pressure from a lower pressure (B) a system adapted for sealing a boss in a high pressure cylinder and for indicating the integrity of sealing. |
