PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent boiler water from raising the liquid surface and being taken out with steam due to the turning in a gas/liquid separator. SOLUTION: In a centrifugal gas/liquid separator formed so as to connect a steam outlet pipe 1 to the upper part, a return pipe 2 to the lower part and a steam inlet pipe to the side part and to turn a 2 phase flow composed of the steam and the boiler water inside a vertical cylindrical drum 4 to separate the steam from the boiler water, the steam outlet pipe 1 is concentric to the cylindrical drum 4, the tip of the steam outlet pipe 1 is projected and connected to the inside of the drum 4 and a baffle plate 5 concentric to the steam outlet pipe 1 and having a diameter >=1.4 times of the outside diameter of the steam outlet pipe 1 and 1/4 to 4/5 times of the inside diameter of the drum is provided at the outside surface part of the steam outlet pipe projected to the drum.
