PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a zeolite hardened body or a calcium silicate hardened body by selecting a treating method in accordance with the calcium oxide content of waste from the power industry and to effectively utilize the waste. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a hardened body, at least one raw material having >=10 wt.% calcium oxide content selected from sludge generated in the centrifugal molding of concrete, aggregate in waste concrete, a cement paste component in waste concrete and coal ash are molded and hydrothermally treated or one or materials having <10 wt.% calcium oxide content selected from sludge generated in the centrifugal molding of concrete, aggregate in waste concrete, a cement paste component in waste concrete and coal ash are alkali-treated, molded and hydrothermally treated.
