<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for treating exhaust gas which promotes not only the removal of CO and unsaturated hydrocarbon type VOCs e.g. C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>, but the decomposition reaction of saturated hydrocarbons e.g. propane, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the catalyst for treating exhaust gas containing carbon monoxide and volatile organic compounds, a porous layer of an inorganic compound containing a noble metal is formed on a substrate containing a denitration catalyst ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
