PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which prevents heat deterioration of an auxiliary device placed on a burning air supply path when the operation of a home fuel cell system is stopped.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a fuel processing device 3 generating a hydrogen containing gas from a material gas in a housing 2; a fuel cell 4 generating electric power through an electrochemical reaction between the hydrogen containing gas and an oxidizing agent; a burner 6 burning the material gas and the unreacted hydrogen containing gas; a burning air supply device 7 supplying burning air burned by the burner 6; a burning air supply path 9 connecting the burning air supply device 7 with the burner 6; a valve 12 disposed on the burning air supply path 9; and a controller 13 controlling the valve 12. The controller 13 conducts controlling so as to close the valve 12 after the extinction of the burner 6. |
