PURPOSE:To reduce electric consumption of a gas pump, and improve energy efficiency and gas pump reliability by providing a communicating tube connecting a gas supply tube from an electrolyte tank to an electrode part with a liquid return tube to return electrolyte from the electrode part to the electrolyte tank, and making gas and liquid contact at the connecting part with the liquid return tube. CONSTITUTION:A gas blow tube is not provided in an electrolyte tank 2, and circulating gas therefore passes the surface of electrolyte to flow into a gas supply tube 6 in the tank 2. In the meanwhile, electrolyte is circulated from the electrolyte tank 2 to an electrode part 1 by a liquid pump 4, and a communicating tube 8 is provided branched from the gas supply tube 6 and connected where electrolyte in a liquid return tube 7 for returning electrolyte from the electrode part 1 to the electrolyte tank 2 drops naturally. Executor phenomenon of sucking gas by gas/liquid contact of liquid naturally dropping at the connecting part occurs, causing gas to be sucked into liquid. Need of inserting a gas blow tube deep into electrolyte is therefore eliminated, and load on a gas pump 5 is greatly reduced. |
