PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition which gives antireflection materials suitable as films to be laminated to the polarizing plates of liquid crystal display devices, by formulating a metal alkoxide condensate, a croslinking polymer, and a solvent. SOLUTION: This composition for high refractive index comprises (A) a metal alkoxide condensate preferably represented by the formula [M is Ti, Si, Zr, Sn or Ta; Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd are each an aliphatic hydrocarbon; (m) is an integer of >=2], (B) (i) a cross-linking polymer (preferably a polymer having CH=CH-CO groups in the main chain and/or in the side chains) or (ii) a cationic polymerizing compound (preferably an oxirane ring-like compound, an oxetane ring-like compound, a thiirane ring-like compound or a thietane ring-like compound), and (C) a solvent. |
