The skating ski in which the running surface (20) has in cross section a semi oval convex shape. The ribs (28) extending in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the ski (10) project forwards. One rib is positioned in the centre of the running surface and at least two further ribs are displaced laterally with respect to the centre rib.
