PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charger for a portable gas detector capable of switching a length of a setting part between a first length and a second length that is larger than the first length, and performing charging in a stable installation state.SOLUTION: A battery charger 1 for a portable gas detector is configured to charge a portable gas detector 500 in a state where a bottom 21 is in contact with an installation surface 900. The battery charger 1 comprises: a first portion 20 including an external power supply connection terminal 32 that is provided in any other portion, that is exposed outsides, than the bottom 21, and a first engagement part 27; a second portion 40 including a second engagement part 29; and a setting part S of the portable gas detector 500. By switching between a first state where the first engagement part 27 and the second engagement part 29 are engaged in a first engagement state and a second state where the first engagement part 27 and the second engagement part 29 are engaged in a second engagement state, a length of the setting part S can be switched between a first length L1 and a second length L2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
