Method and arrangement for the detection of a coil

The method involves operating an electronic circuit with a direct current voltage lying in a provided voltage range, and forming an electrical oscillating circuit by a capacitor (C1). The oscillating circuit is excited with an impulse that produces a voltage value during the oscillation at a coil connection (S1) connected to a coil. The voltage value is determined through scanning of flanks of a voltage signal, where the voltage value lies outside of the voltage area. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for detection of a coil in an electronic circuit.
