PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of improving a recognizing degree of a driver for a picture image higher in renewing frequency in displaying a meter picture image, etc. and a navigation picture image by mixing them in the inside of a meter panel. SOLUTION: A display region of a TFT display 30 is divided into meter display regions 31 arranged on both right and left sides, a navigation display region 32 arranged between a speed meter picture image 31a and a tachometer picture image 31b of the meter display region 31, a vehicle state display region 33 arranged below the navigation display region 32 and a vehicle state display region 34 arranged above the navigation display region 32. Additionally, the renewing frequency of various information displayed in the vehicle state display region 34 is higher than the renewing frequency of a navigation picture image displayed in the navigation display region 32, and the renewing frequency of various information displayed in the vehicle state display region 33 is lower than the renewing frequency of the navigation picture image displayed in the navigation display region 32.
