PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of abnormal noise due to a tooth tapping in a planetary gear connected to a second motor, in an automobile that includes an engine on a first axle side, a first motor, a planetary gear, a second motor, and a third motor on a second axle side.SOLUTION: When an accelerator is turned off, a torque instruction for a first motor is set so that an engine with a fuel injection stopped is motored by the first motor (S140). Subsequently, torque instructions Tm2*, Tm3* for second and third motors are set so that torque of a motor MG 2 reaches a threshold -Tref or less, or a threshold Tref or more, and so that an automobile travels with requirement torque Td* (S150-S220).
