PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod for supporting a camera at a suitable height by stabilizing it during usage, without being bulky when carrying it, since the tripod can be folded flat so that it is in the substantially same state as the camera, when a leg body is moved to a storing position in non-use. SOLUTION: The tripod 1 is integrally composed of a flat plate-like fixing member 3 detachably fixing the camera, the three flat plate-like leg bodies 4, 5 and 6 provided movably between the storing position for the fixing member and a usage position making a prescribed angle with the fixing member, a common shaft member 7 for rotatably supporting, recesses 41, 51 and 61 so that the fixing member is substantially flush with the leg body, when the leg body is moved to the storing position, and rotation regulation parts 50 and 55.
