PRODUCT AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, SERVER, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product authentication system capable of acquiring product information by simply and surely authenticating genuineness of a product in a circulation/consumption process.

SOLUTION: A server 101 encrypts a code information in which genuineness information about a product and product service information are converted into two-dimensional bar code. The generated encrypted code information 13 is printed on a product authentication label 10. A medium having optically readable function is attached as security and a product 20 is attached with the product authentication label 10. A portable terminal 103-1 and a portable terminal 103-2, being user-registered, are distributed with a specific ID key code 15. The portable terminal 103 reads the encrypted code information 13 or the like, and decodes the encrypted code information 13 using the specific ID key code 15. Genuineness of a product is confirmed or product information is acquired using the genuineness information about product and product service information which are restored.
