The present invention relates to an emergency light and, more particularly, to an emergency light comprising: an illumination lamp; a remote controller configured to wirelessly transmit a turn-on signal for turning the illumination lamp on and a turn-off signal for turning the illumination lamp off; a power cut detection unit configured to transmit a power cut detection signal in the event that power cut occurs in a power system which supplies electric power to the illumination lamp; a battery configured to store electric power supplied by the power system and supply the stored electric power to the illumination lamp in the event that power cut occurs in the power system; and a control unit which separately receives the turn-on and turn-off signals transmitted from the remote controller and the power cut detection signal transmitted from the power cut detection unit, and controls switching the illumination lamp on and off according to the received signals and charging and discharging the battery. The emergency light according to the present invention has the advantage that even if power cut occurs in the power system, it is possible to continuously and stably maintain a turned-on or turned-off state of the illumination lamp selected by a user, and simply control switching the illumination lamp on and off at a remote distance by means of the remote controller according to a user's selection. |
