The connector casing has two mounting surfaces (28, 30) at right angles, either of which may be held against the circuit board. These surfaces are normal and parallel respectively, to the direction of insertion (M). The connector includes a comb (38) located at the edge where the planes intersect. This may be used to accommodate the ends of the board connection pins (12).
