PURPOSE:To eliminate solar paddle tracking control and to avoid influence of a solar battery on attitude of an artificial satellite by furnishing the solar battery capable of receiving sunlight from all angles on the artificial satellite requiring high precision attitude control. CONSTITUTION:Thus artificial satellite 1 is constituted of a satellite main body 11, a nondirectional solar battery 12 and an electric wire 13 without rigidity. The nondirectional solar battery 12 is formed in a spherical shape and constituted so as to receive sunlight from any direction. Consequently, solar paddle tracking control is eliminated, a control system is saved by the amount the solar paddle tracking control is not carried out, the satellite main body 11 is miniaturized and lightened and the overall system is simplified. Additionally, influence of the solar battery on attitude of the satellite main body 11 is eliminated, and high precision attitude control is made possible. |
