PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding cassette capable of preventing error in paper feeding by bringing a paper sheet into contact with a paper feeding roller by proper pressure. SOLUTION: This paper feeding cassette 40 is provided with a cassette case 41 storing a recording medium, a loading plate 50 which is rotatably provided in the vertical direction in the cassette case 41 using one end part as fulcrum and on which paper sheet P is loaded, and a spring 46 energizing the loading plate 50 in the upward direction. The loading plate 50 is composed of a rear end part 51, a front end part 52, and a connection part 53 connecting the rear end part 51 with the front end part 52 in the direction of conveyance of paper sheet P. Strength for bending stress of the connection part 53 is reduced when compared with respective strength of the rear end part 51 and the front end part 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
