PURPOSE:To manufacture excellently in productivity opening trim excellent in fitting workability and moreover capable of keeping insertion-mounting force as a whole nipping lip. CONSTITUTION:This method manufactures opening trim which is mounted on the body flange 21 of the door fitting opening part of an automobile, having a U-shaped cross section surface, provided with nipping lips 7 and 8 on the inner side of the U-shaped cross section surface, and wherein a thick wall thickness part nipping-scheduled part for nipping the thick wall thickness part 21a of a body flange 21 is integrally extrusin-molded together with another part continued to the scheduled part. The nipping lips 7 and 8 on at least one side of the thick wall thickness part nipping-scheduled part are formed so that a tilted angle beta to a flange insertion surface can become smaller than that alphain another part, then performing curing. |
