<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a distributed printing controller determines a distribution destination printer, transmission of a control command to the distribution destination printer is very troublesome since a client cannot know the distribution destination printer. <P>SOLUTION: The distributed printing controller is provided with: a storing part for storing a printing job when receiving the printing job; a determining part for determining the distribution destination printer when receiving the printing job; a storing part for storing identification information of the determined distribution destination printer; a distribution part for reading the identification information from the storage part and distributing the printing job stored in the storage part to the distribution destination printer specified with the identification information; and a command transmission part which can transmit the control command to the distribution destination printer. When transmission of the control command to the distribution destination printer is requested from outside, the command transmission part reads the identification information from the storage part and transmits the control command to at least one distribution destination printer specified with the identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
