<p>An implant (I1) for implantation in a human or animal organism with polymer coating, that the polymer coating is molecularly imprinted and the molecular imprint for binding with, under the physiological conditions in human or animal organism, at least one of: at least one physiological compound of human or animal organism and at least one systemically administered active ingredient. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) manufacture of a polymer-coated implant (I1) involves the molecularly imprinted polymer is affixed to the surface of the implant and, that the molecularly imprinted polymer comes in contact with body fluids; (2) a molecularly imprinted polymer (M1) suitable as coating for a polymer-coated implant (I1); (3) obtaining (P1) a molecularly imprinted polymer (M1) involving preparation of at least one of: at least one physiological compound of human or an animal organism and at least one systemically administered active ingredients, preparation of at leas one materials that can polymerized, preparation of at least one polymerization initiators, mixing the at least one physiological compounds or the at least one systemically administered active ingredients from with the at least one material that can polymerized as well as with the at least one polymerization initiators, polymerization of the mixture to make a polymer, and removal of the at least one physiological compound or the at least one systemically administered active ingredients at least from the surface of the polymer obtained by washing the polymer with at least one suitable solvents.
