METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANAGING DATA CENTER USING ONTOLOGY

Disclosed is technology for a method and a device for managing a data center using ontology. The method for managing a data center, a method for managing a data center using server management ontology, includes a step of receiving feature information about the entity of the data center; a step of searching data matched to the feature information in a data base, by using semantic annotation; and a step of outputting the feature information by using the searched data and outputting the same. The server management ontology includes a class for the entity and a class for the feature information. The entity includes the server, server rack or server column of the data center. So, the data center can be efficiently managed.
