The assembly to erect a bracket scaffolding (2), to be suspended at a building (1) to project from it, has holding members (3) at the upper side to support the platform. The structure has an extension (14) to support wider platform planks, which is longer than the holding members and is secured to the scaffolding structure with a release mounting. When in place, the extension is parallel to the holding members, at the same level or above them.
