PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely correct data on a server from a terminal through a network. SOLUTION: A data protecting means 11 of a data storage device 1 protects data to be a correcting object so that it is not corrected by other terminals by a correction instruction of an input device 4 operated by a user, a data input means 21 downloads the data to a data processor 2 and a data processing auxiliary means 3 is also downloaded if necessary. A data correction starting means 31 starts a data correcting means 22, displays the data on an output device 4, corrects the data and when a termination monitoring means 32 of a data correcting means detects termination of data correction by the data correcting means 22, the corrected data uploads the data storage device 1 through a network through a data output means 23. The corrected data is stored in an original storage position and a data protection releasing means 12 releases protection of the data.
