PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering device capable of easily coping with the curved state or the change of the inside diameter of a lumen with simple structure. SOLUTION: The centering device 1 regulating the movement in a radial direction of the insertion part of an endoscope in the lumen is equipped with: an edge fixing part 6 integrally formed to have a through-hole 5 through which the insertion part is inserted and fixing an edge position relative to the insertion part; a movement part 7 arranged nearer to a base end side than the edge fixing part 6 and capable of advancing to/retreating from the edge fixing part 6 in an axial direction; a base end fixing part 8 fixing a base end position relative to the insertion part; a first diameter changing part (diameter changing part) 10 which is arranged between the movement part 7 and the edge fixing part 6 and whose diameter relative to the through-hole 5 is extended or contracted according to the position of the movement part 7 relative to the insertion part; and a second diameter changing part (diameter changing part) 11 which is arranged between the movement part 7 and the base end fixing part 8 and whose structure is made the same as the first diameter changing part 10.
