METHOD PROCESSING THE HOLE OF HEADER OF HEAT EXCHANGER

A method of forming a hole in a header of a heat exchanger is provided to minimize burr and readily form a hole in the header, thereby increasing productivity. A method of forming a hole in a header of a heat exchanger includes a primary cutting process(S10) of forming an introduction part for inserting a punch of a press by primarily cutting the header with a cutter, and a secondary punching process(S20) for polishing the hole by inserting the punch of the press into the introduction part. The primary cutting process is performed by at least one cutting step. A cutting amount of the primary cutting process is 40 - 90% of the entire cutting amount.
