A BLIND RIVET FOR A THREADED JOINT

A blind rivet for a threaded joint between a support member and a mounti ng member consists of a body of elastic material and a sleeve of metallic material. The body is formed as a sleeve-shaped shank adapted to be inserted into a mounti ng hole of the support member. The shank has a mounting flange and a folding zone adapted to be folded into a fold by a folding operation. The mounting flange and the folding zone are adapted to be supported against opposite sides of said support member. T he sleeve of metallic material is disposed within the body. There are provided means f or pre- venting twisting and torsional deformation of the body.
