READOUT SCHEDULING METHOD FOR ATM CELL QUEUE AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the readout schedule control method and device of an TM cell queue for multiplexing plural connection by reducing the fluctuation of a cell transmission interval within a normalized range, and guaranteeing a transmission band. SOLUTION: A readout timing is defined in a readout schedule chart 30 for plural ATM cell queues (1-1, 1-2,...) multiplexed on the same output line, and an ATM cell is read from each cell queue according to the schedule chart 30. When the cell queue of new connection is generated, a reading timing candidate point is selected in a readout interval corresponding to a requested band, and the readout timing position is corrected so that the density of the already assigned timing position can be the most averaged as a result within a range in which the fluctuation of the cell transmission interval is allowable at each candidate point.
