PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head capable of equally flowing a sufficient amount of cooling water for two exhaust passages arranged for a cylinder and capable of positively cooling them.SOLUTION: There are provided the first communication passage 90 for connecting a cylinder head water chamber with a water chamber of a cylinder block and opened at positions equally spaced distances from the two exhaust passages; the first water passage 94 passing between the exhaust passages; the second water passage 98 branched from the first water passage and passing outside an intake passage; the second communication passage 102 connected with the water chamber in the cylinder block and opened outside the exhaust passages; the third water passage 104 passing from the second communication passage; a column part for restricting the third water passage; and the third communicating passage 118 connected with the water chamber of the cylinder block and further connected to the fourth water passage 116 where the second water passage and the third water passage merge to each other.
