PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor in which the man-hour for assembly and manufacture is reduced, whose efficiency is high and whose reliability and durability are superior. SOLUTION: This motor is provided with a stator which comprises a stator core and a winding coil. In addition, it is provided with a rotor which is arranged at the inside of the stator. A female coupling part 12 is formed in one end part of a yoke part 11a in a split core plate 11 which comprises the yoke part 11a and salient poles 11b. A male coupling part 13 which has a shape capable of being coupled to the female coupling part 12 is formed in the outer end part. The stator core is constituted, in such a way that a plurality of split core blocks 10 which are formed by laminating a plurality of split core plates 11 are arranged nearly annularly, and that male coupling parts 13 at the adjacent split core blocks 10 are coupled to corresponding female coupling parts 12 so as to be integrated. Caulking parts 12c, 13c are plastically deformed so as to crush grooves 12b, and they are coupled firmly.
