A folder type mobile communication terminal is provided to open a terminal main body according as a folder is easily unfolded by downwardly moving the folder folded on the terminal main body, thereby increasing convenience in use in comparison with an existing terminal in which the folder is unfolded by inserting a finger between the terminal main body and the folder. A folder type mobile communication terminal comprises a terminal main body, a folder(120), a hinge module and a folder opening module. The folder opening module has a hinge cap(141) which enables the folder(120) to rotate at a predetermined angle in a state that the folder(120) is folded on the terminal main body by moving the folder(120) downwards. The hinge cap(141) is linked with an internal space of one adjacent to the hinge module among main body combining units, and is slidably and rotatably supported along a long guide hole. One end of the hinge cap(141) is fixed to a rotary shaft(132) and has a cap connecting unit which is prolonged from the other end. The cap connecting unit reciprocates between an upper front and a lower rear in a state of being elastically and rotatably supported by the first guide unit(145).
