1. An industrial cart comprising:
a frame including first and second lateral support members, first and second longitudinal support members and first and second retaining blocks, each lateral support member having first and second ends, each longitudinal support member having first and second ends, the first end of the first longitudinal support member connected with the first lateral support member at a position which is spaced from the first end of the first lateral support member, the second end of the first longitudinal support member connected with the second lateral support member, the first end of the second longitudinal support member connected with the first lateral support member at a position which is spaced from the second end of the first lateral support member, the second end of the second longitudinal support member connected with the second lateral support member, the first retaining block extending from the first longitudinal support member, the first retaining block positioned proximate to, but spaced from, the first end of the first longitudinal support member such that a first space is formed between the first retaining block and the first lateral support member, the second retaining block extending from the second longitudinal support member, the second retaining block positioned proximate to, but spaced from, the first end of the second longitudinal support member such that a second space is formed between the second retaining block and the first lateral support member, the second retaining block having a passageway therethrough which is in direct communication with the second space; and a locking mechanism attached to the second retaining block, the locking mechanism extending through the passageway such that the locking mechanism is capable of entering into the second space and capable of being withdrawn from the second space. |
