PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectal drain that makes it possible to efficiently depressurize the inside of a rectum, and thereby can raise medical quality and safety.SOLUTION: A rectal drain includes a flexible hollow tube body 11 extending in the longitudinal direction and having a front end 12 or a rear end 13 opened. When inserted from the side of the front end 12 into an anus and indwelled in the middle of the tube body 11, a reinforcing part 20 having hardness and thickness higher than that of other parts is formed in a part coming into contact with an anal sphincter. Also, a fixing piece 30 is provided which is spread in the periphery, and sewed up and fixed on the body surface part of the anal circumference at the rear of the reinforcing part 20. A suture insertion hole 32 being a small hole to be inserted of a suture and reinforcing the inner circumferential edge is provided in the fixing piece 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
