<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer capable of immediately coping with the change of a once-found prescription value and efficiently examining eyes. <P>SOLUTION: The optometer is for measuring the degree of correction for correcting the ametropia by subjectively examining the refraction of an examined eye. The optometer comprises a complete correction value examining means for measuring the complete correction value for long distance of the examined eye, a recruitment value examining means for measuring the complete correction value of the recruitment degree for short distance of the examined eye, a storing means for storing the complete correction value for long distance and the complete correction value of the recruitment degree obtained by the measurement, an arithmetic operation processing part for finding a prescription value and prescription recruitment value from the complete correction value for long distance and the complete correction value of the recruitment degree stored in the storing means, and a changing means for changing at least one of the obtained complete correction value for long distance, complete correction value of the recruitment degree and prescription value. The arithmetic operation processing part, after computing the prescription recruitment value, computes the prescription recruitment value again according to the change by the changing means of at least one of the complete correction value for long distance, complete correction value of the recruitment degree and prescription value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
