<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical tag capable of transmitting various pieces of information over a wide range so that even a low-speed tag reader can receive them. <P>SOLUTION: A superposition tag 10 is provided at a body 2 and blinks light to transmit the property information of the body 2. In detail, category information and detail information are stored as the property information and a single light emitting element is made to blink at a low speed and a high speed according to the category information and detail information. The category information and detail information are therefore transmitted simultaneously from the superposition tag 10. The detail information reaches the position of a boundary line C1 and is detected by a high-speed tag reader 20. The category information reaches the position of a farther boundary line C2 and is detected by the low-speed tag reader 30. The optical tag can transmit various pieces of property information including category information and detail information and, especially, the category information can be transmitted over a wide range so that the category information can be received even by the low-speed tag reader. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
