<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stable contact between an electrode and a body without pressing and securing a hand graving an electrocardiograph to the other part of the body. <P>SOLUTION: The portable type electrocardiograph 100A has a substantially rectangularly shaped casing 101, a negative electrode disposed at a grip portion located at the vicinity of one side end in a longitudinal direction of the casing 101, and a positive electrode 120 disposed in a left side face 107 located at the other side end in the longitudinal direction of the case 101. An electrocardiographic wave is measured, pushing and pressing the left side face 107 toward limbs or a torso other than the graving hand while graving the grip portion with a right hand. The left side face 107 which is an electrode forming face of the positive electrode 120 includes an electrode area (a contact face 121 with the body) where the positive electrode 120 is disposed and non-electrode area (a flat face 107a) positioned so as to surround the electrode area and formed in flat shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
