PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for stably receiving content information in consideration of the state of a hard disk in the terminal holding the content information. SOLUTION: The terminal includes: a hard disk for storing the content information; a state information acquiring means for acquiring state information of the hard disk from the hard disk; and a content transmission processing means for transmitting the content information stored in the hard disk to other terminal when the state information of the hard disk satisfies a prescribed condition and when the transmission request of the content information stored in the hard disk is received from the other terminal, and restricting the transmission of the content information to the other terminal when the prescribed condition is not satisfied.
